One thing I did well in my mock up was writing the main characters and including a brief descroption about each of the characters.

One thing I can do to make my project better is explaining more about the main problem in the story. I could have included what the main characters was going to do after hearing about the killing.

I think we should produce my project because I gave a lot of details. Also because I included some information about the characters in the book.

Title: The Confession

Author: R.L.Stine

        This book is called "The Confession" by R.L.Stine. This book is a series of fear street that R..L.Stine. Stine has written many fear street series like killer's kiss, the perfect date, and the rich girl. Stine has got many awards for his books.He now lives in New York City with his wife and dog.

        This book is about Julies's friends couldn't stand Al any more. They all wish that Al was dead. One day Al gets killed and many people think its one of Al's friend. Julie doesn't believe that one of her friends has killed Al. She trys to prove that her friends are all innocent. She won't give up until one of her friends tell her the truth behind this murder. They tried to keep it a secret so no one will know that Al is killed. Julie goes everywhere to find evidience to find out who's the criminal and  expose them. Will she succeed read the book to find out?

        One connection I made was " I believe that none of you kill Al". This reminds me of when people don't believe that their friend would kill anyone. This helps me understand that Julie wants to help her friends.

        One of my favorite images is when they found Al's body. I can see the fear in all their eyes. This helps me understand that they are scared that if the secret is out of the bag all of them will be in jail.

        I would recommend this book for readers who like mystery books.

Title: The Case of the Goblin Pearl

Author: Laurence Yep

        This book is called "The Case of the Goblin Pearl" by Laurence Yep. Laurence Yep now lives in Pacific Grove, California with his wife. He has written book like dragonwings and dragon's gates. These two books won the newbery award.

         This book is about a girl name Lily. Lily is excited when Auntie Tiger Lil comes to San Francisco to arrange the Lion dance. for the New Year's parade. She is most famous for the Tiger Lil series of action movies. In the parade the Goblin Pearls would be there to let people see. At the day of the parade the pearl was stolen. Tiger Lil isn't about to let some punks ruin her plans if the cops can't catch the thieves, she will. But everything is not what they want it to be and Tiger Lil and Lily soon find themselves in the middle of alot of trouble. If you want to find out what happens next then read the book to find out?       

        One connection I made is "this will be my chance to show people who I am" this reminds me of when someone is doing something to let people notice them. This helps me understand that the Aunt wants to be famous again.

        One of my favorite images is when they Lily and her aunt was chasing the theifs. I can see how they are telling them to stop. This helps me understand that this pearl is really important to the people.

        I would recommend this book to readers who like mystery and adventures.

Author: Todd Strasser

          This book is called "The Wave" by Todd Strasser. Todd is a author of many books. Some of his book that he wrote include Home alone, Free willy, and Jumanji. Todd writes his stories mainly from his life experiences.

         This book is about a teacher name Ben Ross and his class. Mr. Ross is teaching his class about the Holocaust but they didn't understand so he decides to do an experiment on it. This includes the creation of the wave. The wave started out to be just be in this class but in less than a week the whole school got involved in it. People were hitting people that didn't want to join the wave. Also people even turn on their best friends. From the beginning Laurie doesn't like the Wave so she teams up with another kid to try to stop it by writing an article in the school newspaper. David Laurie's boyfriend was in The Wave but after he knew that Laurie is getting hurt he quit The Wave. what will happen next read to find out?

        One connection I had made was " David please listen to me". This reminds me of when people never listen to what people say. This helps me understand that the wave is making things bad.

        One of my favorite images is when the kids was fighting. I can see the blood and the injures on their faces. This helps me understand that the wave is making everyone turn on their friends if they don't join the wave.

        I would recommend this book for a reader who likes to learn about the history.

Title: The Revenge of the Wizard's Ghost

Author; John Bellairs

            This book is called "The Revenge of the Wizard's Ghost" by the author John Bellairs. This book is a Johnny Dixon mystery. John has written many mystery books that include the curse of the blue figurine, and the secret of the underground room.

            I am half way done with this book. This book is about a boy name Johnny who was curse by a ghost called Warren Windrow after Johnny and professor Childermass stop Warren's madness. The professor and Fergie goes to the Windrow estate to help Johnny. They heard that there was two talismans that are hidden there that would help break the curse. They found out that there was something protecting the estate. Will these two find a way to get the talisman and save Johnny from the curse?

            One connection I made was "Fergie watch out for your back". This reminds me of when people tried to warn me about something bad that is going to happen. This helps me understand that there will be difficulty on getting the talisman.

            One of my favorite images is when Johnny strangles himself. I can see the pain the curse has brought to Johnny. This helps me understand that until Johnny dies the ghost will not free him.

            I would recommend this book for a reader who likes mystery. Also for readers who like to have some adventure.
